The Prophecies of Sr. Jeanne le Royer

A commentator has recently drawn my attention to the prophecies of Sr. Jeanne le Royer (who took the religious name of "Sister of the Nativity"), a French nun who received a series of apocalyptic visions in the 18th century. Sr. le Royer's visions were recorded in the 1817 book Vie et Révélations de Sœur de la Nativité (The Life and Revelations of the Sister of the Nativity), by Charles Genet. Her prophecies correspond quite closely with many of the hypotheses I forward in my book Unveiling the Apocalypse - which is quite remarkable, given the fact that my theories on this subject were not in any way influenced by this particular source.

Sr. le Royer's prophecies mention mountains "cracking and splitting" after a series of great earthquakes, which she states will take place just before the coming of the Antichrist. As anyone who has read the book will know, in Unveiling the Apocalypse I argued that the rise of the Antichrist will take place following the total economic collapse of America, which I believe will happen as a result of the greatest natural disaster in human history. If the East Coast of the Americas is devastated by the mega-tsunami event generated by the lateral collapse of the volcano Cumbre Vieja in the Canary Islands (an event which will fulfill the "great mountain, burning with fire" being thrown into the sea in Rev 8:8), this unprecedented disaster would ensure the total economic collapse of the entire United States. This event would then leave a political vacuum that will provide the perfect opportunity for the rise of the Son of Perdition to world dominance. In turn, I argue that the repercussions of this catastrophe will inevitably lead to the battle of Armageddon, when the world will be destroyed by fire "falling from the sky" (as was warned by Our Lady of Akita).

If we study the prophecies below, we can see that series of events depicted in the Sister of the Nativity's visions corresponds exactly with the hypothesis I forward in the book:

…I see in God that a long time before the rise of Antichrist the world will be afflicted with many bloody wars. Peoples will rise up against peoples and nations will rise against nations sometimes allied, sometimes enemies in their fight against the same party.  Armies will come into frightful collisions and will fill the earth with murder and carnage….

…These infernal and foreign wars will cause enormous sacrifices, profanations, scandals and infinite evils, because of the incursions that will have been made into the Church…”

…As well as that I can see that the earth will be shaken in different places by frightful earthquakes. I see whole mountains cracking and splitting with a terrible din. Only too happy will one be if one can escape with no more than a fight but no I see come out of these gaping mountains whirlwinds of smoke, fire, sulphur and tar which reduce to sinders entire towns. All this and a thousand other disasters must come before the man of Sin (antichrist)…

According to Sr. Jeanne le Royer, some time before the coming of the Antichrist, the world will experience the "nations rising against nations" foretold by Christ in His eschatological discourse on Mt. Olivet (which I argue relates to world wars of the 20th century). After this, she sees the earth being shaken by a series of earthquakes which cause "whole mountains" to crack and split. In the book, I theorize that the eruption of Cumbre Vieja in the Canary Islands is directly related to the eschatological earthquake which devastates Jerusalem during the Second Coming of Christ. This earthquake is described in the Book of Revelation as the greatest earthquake in human history - which takes place just  before God punishes "Babylon the Great":

"And there were flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, and a great earthquake such as there had never been since man was on the earth, so great was that earthquake. The great city was split into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell, and God remembered Babylon the great, to make her drain the cup of the wine of the fury of his wrath."
(Rev 16:18-19)

The Book of Jeremiah tells us that this punishment will be brought about by the casting down of a "burning mountain", after which, "Babylon" is engulfed by huge tidal waves:

Behold, I am against you, O destroying mountain, declares the LORD, which destroys the whole earth; I will stretch out my hand against you, and roll you down from the crags, and make you a burnt mountain"....

"How Babylon is taken, the praise of the whole earth seized! How Babylon has become a horror among the nations! The sea has come up on Babylon; she is covered with its tumultuous waves. Her cities have become a horror, a land of drought and a desert, a land in which no one dwells, and through which no son of man passes"...

"A voice! A cry from Babylon! The noise of great destruction from the land of the Chaldeans! For the LORD is laying Babylon waste and stilling her mighty voice. Their waves roar like many waters; the noise of their voice is raised, for a destroyer has come upon her, upon Babylon"...

"When you finish reading this book, tie a stone to it and cast it into the midst of the Euphrates, and say, ‘Thus shall Babylon sink, to rise no more, because of the disaster that I am bringing upon her, and they shall become exhausted."
(Jer 51:25, 41-43, 54-56, 63-64)

"Then a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone and threw it into the sea, saying, “So will Babylon the great city be thrown down with violence, and will be found no more"...
(Rev 18:21)

"The second angel blew his trumpet, and something like a great mountain, burning with fire, was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood".
(Rev 8:8)

In the book, I theorize that if the world's greatest earthquake took place in Jerusalem, as is predicted in the Apocalypse, this would almost certainly lead to an increase of volcanic activity across the North African tectonic plate, which in turn, could ultimately lead to a devastating eruption of Cumbre Vieja. This would then explain how "Babylon" is to be punished after the greatest earthquake in human history, as is described in Rev 16:18-19. So the sequence of events given in the prophecies of Sr. le Royer fits in perfectly with timeline of events I attempt to detail in Unveiling the Apocalypse
Rather interestingly, the Sister of the Nativity's prophecies appear to be related to the first decades of the 21st century:

…One day I found myself in a vast plain alone with God. Jesus appeared to me and from the top of a small hill showing me a beautiful sun in the horizon. He said dolefully: “the world is passing away and the time of my coming draws near. When the sun is about to set one knows that the day is nearly over and that night will soon fall. Centuries are like days for me. Look at this sun; see how much it still has to travel and estimate the time that is left in the world.“ I looked intently and it seemed to me that the sun would set in about 2 hours. Jesus said “Do not forget that those are not millenaries but only centuries and they are few in number” But I understood that Jesus reserved to Himself the knowledge of the exact number and I did not wish to ask him more. It sufficed me to know the peace of the church and the restoration of the discipline were to last a reasonably long time…

Writing towards the end of the 18th century, Sr. le Royer was told that the "sun would set in about 2 hours", and that these hours represented centuries - placing the significance of her prophecies as relating to sometime around the turn of the millennium. Yet before this "setting of the sun", when the world will pass away, Sr. le Royer was shown that the Church would be restored during an age of peace which would last "a reasonably long time". Given that her prophecies are centred around the turn of the millennium, it seems that the age of peace given to the world before the coming of the Antichrist is related to this exact time period.

The above prophecies of Sr. Jeanne le Royer are fairly well known, having been cited in the books Catholic Prophecy by Yves Dupont, The Prophets and Our Times, by Rev. Gerard Fulton and Desmond Birch's Trial, Tribulation & Triumph. But there is another lesser known prophecy of the Sister of the Nativity which dates the significance of her prophesied events even more specifically to the second decade of the 21st century:

"Woe ! Woe ! Woe to the last century !
Here is what God wanted to show me in his Light. I began looking in the light of God, the century which must begin in 1800; I saw by this light that judgement wasn't there, and that it wouldn't be the last century. I considered, thanks to the same light, the century of 1900, until the end, to see positively if it would be the last. Our Lord made me know, and at the same time made me doubt, if it would be at the end of the century of 1900, or in that of 2000. But what I saw, it is that if the judgment arrived in the century of 1900, it would come only towards the end, and that if the world exceeds this century, the one of 2000 will not pass without the judgment intervening, as I saw it in the light of God."
(Vie et Révélations de Sœur de la Nativité, Charles Genet, book IV, pp. 125-126)

Here, Sr. le Royer tells us that a judgment she was shown in "the light of God" would take place before the 21st century had passed. But what could this particular judgment refer to? The fact that the visionary was shown a judgment taking place in "the light of God" sounds remarkably similar to the words of the Third Secret of Fatima:

"After the two parts which I have already explained, at the left of Our Lady and
a little above, we saw an Angel with a flaming sword in his left hand; flashing,
it gave out flames that looked as though they would set the world on fire;
but they died out in contact with the splendour that Our Lady radiated
towards him from her right hand: pointing to the earth with his right hand,
the Angel cried out in a loud voice: ‘PenancePenancePenance!'.
And we saw in an immense light that is God: ‘something similar to how people
appear in a mirror when they pass in front of it' a Bishop dressed in White
‘we had the impression that it was the Holy Father'. Other Bishops, Priests,
men and women Religious going up a steep mountain, at the top of which there
was a big Cross of rough-hewn trunks as of a cork-tree with the bark"...

In the Third Secret of Fatima, the Shepherd Children were also shown a judgment taking place in "an immense light that is God" - in the form of the final Passover of the Church, which will take place during the persecution of the Antichrist. But the children were additionally shown that this light was "something similar to how people appear in a mirror when they pass in front of it". As we will discuss in some more detail in a future post, the great mirror-like "light" shown to the Shepherd Children of Fatima (which takes place just before the final Passover of the Church) is related to the appearance of the Great Sign foretold by St. Faustina and Our Lady of Akita, which many commentators believe is directly related to the prophecy of the Illumination of Consciences - when people will see the state of their souls reflected back at them as if shown in a mirror. It seems that the appearance of the Great Sign (which will possibly be something like a spectacular cross-shaped supernova) will cause people to deeply reflect and examine the state of their consciences, and will help to fully establish the Second Pentecost. In the Third Secret, the appearance of the mirror-like "immense light that is God" takes place in direct response to the Angel's threefold call for penance before the earth is struck by the flaming sword. This call for repentance will be met with the arrival of the Second Pentecost, when Our Lady will intervene to quench the flames that threaten to consume the planet through the triumph of her Immaculate Heart.

Is it possible then that the "judgment" seen by Sr. le Royer taking place in the light of God is one and the same as immense light seen by the Shepherd Children of Fatima? If so, then the arrival of this event is dated by the Sister of the Nativity to occur before the close of this very decade - which is yet another remarkable convergence on this particular time period.
One last striking parallel of the prophecies of Sr. Jeanne le Royer with the theories I present in Unveiling the Apocalypse is the nature of the relationship between the Two Witnesses and the martyr-pope seen by various Catholic visionaries.

“…
Antichrist will kill the Pope, probably by crucifixion. As a child of ten he will know more than anyone else in the world and when he is thirty he will begin his real work. Fifteen days after the ascension of Enoch and Eli as into Heaven, terrible catastrophes will come upon the earth: most severe earthquakes, tidal waves inundating much of the earth's surface, culminating in a thick darkness over the entire earth. “

Here, Sr. le Royer foretells the martyrdom of a pope under the auspices of the Antichrist - which appears to deliberately echo the deaths of the Two Witnesses by the Beast that rises from the bottomless pit:

And when they have finished their testimony, the beast that rises from the bottomless pit will make war on them and conquer them and kill them, and their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city that symbolically is called Sodom and Egypt, where their Lord was crucified.
(Rev 11:7-8)

The mention of the pope being "crucified" is a symbolic link to the martyrdom of the first pope, St. Peter, and also further ties into the Third Secret, where the "bishop dressed in white" embarks on his own via dolorosa, before being martyred at the foot of the Cross in Jerusalem. Sr. le Royer then turns from mentioning the assassination of a pope under the Antichrist to describe the ascension of "Enoch" and "Eli" (Elijah), which further suggests that the identity of one of the Two Witnesses is a Roman Catholic Pontiff. After the martyrdom and ascension of the Two Witnesses in the vision of Sr. le Royer, she is shown "tidal waves inundating much of the earth's surface", which would again tie in with my mega-tsunami hypothesis. In this scenario, the "thick darkness" enveloping the earth would most likely be due to a massive volcanic eruption (i.e. at La Palma in the Canary Islands). This would then   correspond with my theory that the "huge mountain, burning with fire" being thrown into the sea takes place in response to the martyrdom of the Two Witnesses. The water turning to blood after the burning mountain is thrown into the sea recalls the ministry of Moses and the plagues of Egypt - which may also have been caused by a volcanic eruption (see the earlier post The Santorini Eruption and the Apocalyptic Plagues of Egypt).

The Book of Zechariah tells us that a "great mountain" is thrown down by Zerubbabel - who is used by the Book of Revelation to represent one of the Two Witnesses:

Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain.
(Zech 4:7)

In addition to this, the Apocalypse describes a great earthquake taking place in Jerusalem after the ascension of the Two Witnesses into heaven:

But after the three and a half days a breath of life from God entered them, and they stood up on their feet, and great fear fell on those who saw them. Then they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, “Come up here!” And they went up to heaven in a cloud, and their enemies watched them. And at that hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell. Seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the rest were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven.
(Rev 11:11-13)

This earthquake, centred on the Holy City of Jerusalem (the place the Lord was crucified), is the same as the eschatological earthquake which splits the "great city" into three parts in Rev 16:18 - after which God punishes Babylon the Great. The Book of Zechariah tells us that this great earthquake, which splits apart the Holy City, will take place during the Second Coming of Christ:

Behold, a day is coming for the LORD, when the spoil taken from you will be divided in your midst. For I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem to battle, and the city shall be taken and the houses plundered and the women raped. Half of the city shall go out into exile, but the rest of the people shall not be cut off from the city. Then the LORD will go out and fight against those nations as when he fights on a day of battle. On that day his feet shall stand on the Mount of Olives that lies before Jerusalem on the east, and the Mount of Olives shall be split in two from east to west by a very wide valley, so that one half of the Mount shall move northward, and the other half southward. And you shall flee to the valley of my mountains, for the valley of the mountains shall reach to Azal. And you shall flee as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the LORD my God will come, and all the holy ones with him.
On that day there shall be no light, cold, or frost. And there shall be a unique day, which is known to the LORD, neither day nor night, but at evening time there shall be light.
(Zech 14:1-7)

In turn, the Book of Ezekiel states that after this colossal earthquake in the land of Israel, mountains would be thrown down and God will summon a sword against the end-time enemy referred to as "Gog" during the battle of Armageddon. It is then that the realm of Satan under his servant the Antichrist will be destroyed by fire falling from the sky, as warned by Our Lady of Akita:

But on that day, the day that Gog shall come against the land of Israel, declares the Lord GOD, my wrath will be roused in my anger. For in my jealousy and in my blazing wrath I declare, On that day there shall be a great earthquake in the land of Israel. The fish of the sea and the birds of the heavens and the beasts of the field and all creeping things that creep on the ground, and all the people who are on the face of the earth, shall quake at my presence. And the mountains shall be thrown down, and the cliffs shall fall, and every wall shall tumble to the ground. I will summon a sword against Gog on all my mountains, declares the Lord GOD. Every man's sword will be against his brother. With pestilence and bloodshed I will enter into judgment with him, and I will rain upon him and his hordes and the many peoples who are with him torrential rains and hailstones, fire and sulfur. So I will show my greatness and my holiness and make myself known in the eyes of many nations. Then they will know that I am the LORD.
(Ezek 38:18-23)

I originally thought that Neues Europa was describing the same thing as Fulda also. But the intensity of the heat needed to turn the oceans into foam would completely wipe out human life even before the sea would start to boil. Also it sounds more than a bit iffy scientifically speaking, since by the stage the oceans turned to foam, the foam would shrink rather than expand to flood the earth.

Jamey,
>>>..."Then we have most nde's and phony apparitions which seem to support the new theology. This is another diabolical assault and testing of spirits of this age."

My sentiments exactly. Medjugorje comes to mind when "phony and apparition" are mentioned in the same sentence. It appears as if it was tailor made for this post vcii disoriented environment, set up for the taking of the rest of the church's lost sheep.
>>>"It should also be noted the Fr Villa Third Message finishes in the same vein as Quito, that the Church will return to what it was."

Do you have a link to this? This seems interesting.

Emmett,

Wouldn't the foam just come about from agitation (as if from a meteor et al) and not from any heat source?

Domine,

Thank you for the book! I had never heard of it before. I bookmarked it and am going to read it when I can.

Jamey,

"The world is almost cherry ripe for the Antichrist with all the Hate laws and persecution of Christianity lifestyle that are being exhibited, as well as consideration of Emmett's theory re the mark of the beast which may not be far away."

You, my friend, know your stuff! I've been thinking this, too. It's so hard to believe I'm living right now. It really is. But, I'm thankful I'm educated on all this.

Not to mention, this country (America) glorifies Sodomy and every other evil imaginable..

I'm doing my best to not be so afraid. I think of the thousands of babies murdered daily and how the chastisment will just be so horrible and beyond description. This is my generation?! The glorification of evil! If it wasn't for the Church, I wouldn't know any of this and would probably be caught up in it myself. The Church is my life. If I didn't have Her now, I would be a mess...

"that the Church will return to what it was."

Can't wait!

And, get a load of this:

Akita... It isn't far, is it?

Anyway, please pray for me. Likewise, I pray for you every day. :)

Charles,

"Medjugorje comes to mind when "phony and apparition" are mentioned in the same sentence. It appears as if it was tailor made for this post vcii disoriented environment, set up for the taking of the rest of the church's lost sheep."

Amen to that!! That diabolic nonsense will be condemned one day...

God bless!

Thanks for the link on the CME Hannah, scary stuff, at least we've been warned. Thanks for praying for me I will pray for you and your family.

"I think of the thousands of babies murdered daily and how the chastisment will just be so horrible and beyond description."

Abortion is why Fr John O'Connor said: "Let us thank God for this chastisement."

"The Church is my life. If I didn't have Her now, I would be a mess..." Ditto.

Charles I will have to dig up a book I think that quote was in. The only thing I could think re the oceans flooding the land is similar to what you say - if enough meteorites pelt the ocean eventually it is going to rise and flood and the heat of the meteors themselves will stir up and boil the waters. The attack of the meteors would have to target the oceans because if they were to hit the land as well, the water boiling, rising and then flooding would be of little consequence as most would be already dead. At Akita we are told "The Heavenly Father is preparing a Great Chastisement" so given there is preparation that indicates a fair bit of thought and a definite strategy is going into things so it may be heavily localised (but not excluded) to the oceans.

Just by pure chance came across the following prophecy by the stigmatist Teresa Musco in 1951:

"The waters of the oceans will turn into fire and steam. The foam will rise flooding in Europe and all will sink under the lava of fire."

Full excerpt:
It is interesting that back in 1951, Teresa said she was told by the Madonna [according to one rough translation] that "you will see many changes in the Church. Christians who pray will be few. Many souls walk to hell. Women lose the shame and embarrassment. Satan will bring down many. In the world crisis will be common. Satan sings his victory but it's time we all see My Son appear on the clouds and He will judge those who have despised His innocent Blood and Divinity. Then my Immaculate Heart will triumph. My daughter, I am here to tell you that the Father will send a great punishment to mankind in the second half of the twentieth century. When Satan comes to the top of the church, understand that this moment will be able to seduce the minds of great scientists and will be the time when they intervene with very powerful weapons with which you can destroy most of humanity. My daughter, be prepared for the tribulations that the Father has led to Italy; only the souls who offer themselves as victims can fully touch the heart of My Son and the Father. From 1972 will begin the time of Satan; the Cardinals will oppose Cardinals and bishops against bishops. You are in the midst of a very difficult time, which aims to scientifically explain all and no one thinks to give a little warmth, a little love, even for the poorest. I tell you that the world is perverted. I have appeared in Portugal and I have messages, but none has heard. The fire and smoke decompose the world. The waters of the oceans will turn into fire and steam. The foam will rise flooding in Europe and all will sink under the lava of fire. The chosen few living envy the dead.. . "

Thanks Jamey for that Teresa link.
The '72 date jumps out for only one reason to me - Bayside. If you google search, you will see what i mean. Not that I put any faith in Bayside- just saying.

I occurred to me about the foam, steam and fire in the oceans. I read years ago about the influence of volcanoes and in particular, underwater volcanoes and how they can affect and change the temperature of oceans, which affect weather patterns. With the "the ring of fire" news these past decades, it could be another avenue as to how the oceans will turn to fire and steam. Maybe the foam will be caused by such as well.

Thanks for sending that information Jamey! This is VERY interesting... One of the main reasons I thought that Neues Europa might contain some prophetic truths was because of its similarity to Akita, and the fact that it preceded these approved apparitions by 10 years. If Neues Europa was a forgery based on the private revelations of Teresa Musco however, it would explain how bogus material could correspond so closely with this Church approved private revelation years before it was given to Sr. Agnes. We need to take into account the fact that Sr. Lucia strongly denied that Neues Europa was in any way related to the Third Secret.

Charles - Yes, volcanic activity would be the most likely cause of such vast amounts of sea foam, rather than the oceans actually reaching boiling point due to intense heat from a solar ejection or meteorite strike. Sea foam of the variety that Jamey pointed out in the video above is caused by an algal bloom (which can also turn the sea blood red). And the ash from volcanic eruptions are often the cause of algal blooms:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-22045941
This makes it sound more like Rev 8:8-9:

"The second angel blew his trumpet, and something like a great mountain, burning with fire, was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood. A third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed."
(Rev 8:8-9)

Jamey said...

"We need to take into account the fact that Sr. Lucia strongly denied that Neues Europa was in any way related to the Third Secret."

The difficulty is we are told that Akita is the same as the Third Secret of Fatima so if Neues Europa is completely bogus so is Akita. Bishop Ito, a holy bishop confirmed Akita and the Third Secret being essentially the same (must have been from his talks with then Cardinal Ratzinger who knew the Third Secret) and also Howard Dee. In fact Ito was told by Ratzinger to spread the message of Akita in his retirement something he confirmed himself on EWTN. I have seen Ito interviewed whilst alive and he was rock solid. Where did Sr Lucia say Neues Europa was in no way related to the Third Secret, I didn't find anything with a cursory google search?

Emmett, I was also thinking of volcanic lava and the "mountain of fire being thrown into the sea". A friend called me a few years ago to say his quiet and humble wife had a disturbing dream of oceans flooding lands and being full of volcanic lava, I really wasn't sure what to make of it at the time, I may just be contacting him and bring his attention to your blog again.

Interestingly Malachi Martin said the Third Secret mentions a new form of energy weapon and that is something Musco claims to have been told. In regard to Martin it seems he was an infiltrator I refer to the work of the mauricepinay blog and that of Michael Hoffman who found Martin was on several Jewish payrolls. E.Michael Jones discovered Martin was being paid by B'Nai B'rith. Martin in a book in the early 70's wrote it was ok that the state took control of an issue such as abortion and legalised it as per its wishes. He seemed to play on whichever crowd suited (I suspect profited $$$) him. Maybe he repented later. Nevertheless he was close to Cardinal Bea so may have had some genuine insider knowledge.

Jamey said...

btw Emmett, I am not denying Neues Europa used Teresa Musco's visions but more the Neues Europa message itself is pretty much entirely false when it corresponds in many parts to Akita which is "essentially the same" as the Third Secret.

I suggest that it was not Neues Europa that plagiarized the little known Teresa Musco prophecy that she claimed to receive at the age of 8, but rather Teresa Musco that plagiarized the widely publicized Neues Europa article, when she was in her twenties (she was 20 years old in 1963).

Jamey,

Do you have any more information on this Teresa Musco? I've never heard of her before. Is she approved?

That Prophecy is interesting, though.

"Many souls go to hell."

That never ceases to frighten me. That was said in 1951?! Look at us today! Just look at us. I must pray for the world and for myself more than I do. What else can I do? So many fall into hell. I know it's true, but it's so horrible to ever think about...

"Check out the Australian town flooded by sea foam recently"

On the bright side, it's a bubblebath!!

But seriously, God is trying to warn us RIGHT NOW! Are those people listening? Are we listening? Are we the only ones listening? Wake up, people! Get your heads out of your tvs and phones and what not else! If you don't repent, you're going to get the consequences whether you want to believe it or not...

Speaking of volcanoes, there has been much activity as of late.

This site follows what's going on in the world and volcanic activity:

Jamey - My mistrust of Neues Europa is based in the fact that this text was undoubtedly a fabrication of sorts, and that its author explicitly claimed that it was the Third Secret of Fatima. At best it is a pious fraud based on the actual content of the "attachment" to the third part of the Secret of Fatima, which has been greatly expanded by the source of the leak to suit their own agenda. At worst it is just an outright fiction cooked up by a journalist to sell newspapers, loosely based on some contemporary private revelations. Either way, deception lies at the heart of this text.
If the similarities between Akita and Neues Europa is the primary claim to authenticity of this 1963 leaked document, this is completely undermined by the fact that the content of Neues Europa was based on an earlier private revelation. Akita and the private revelations of Teresa Musco may be genuine, but to me, it seems that Neues Europa was a fabrication based on the writings of Teresa Musco, the content of which would later become the focus of Akita. So the link between Neues Europa and Akita can be completely dismissed.
As Charles points out above, it seems that Veronica Lueken of Bayside similarly based her "1972" material on the writings of Teresa Musco. To paraphrase Winston Churchill, the Devil likes to surround the truth with a bodyguard of lies...
I would expect that if a portion of the Third Secret was suppressed, it would be of a more explosive nature than that found in Neues Europa. I don't really see anything worth such an extensive cover-up in this text.

Jamey said...

Anon, that is a possibility as well - ie Musco copied Neues Europa. I thought of the age but its worthwhile considering Sr Lucia received the secrets of Fatima at very tender years as have many seers in Catholicism. Musco said she received her first apparition at age 5. Saying that I think it will be very hard to find a pre 1960 source.

Hannah, there is little available on her online. I recommend reading the following article and also perusing the comments section:

http://www.mysticsofthechurch.com/2012/01/teresa-musco-stigmatic-mystic-victim.html

Emmett, I have often thought Akita is the watered down version of the Third Secret when it comes to the state of the Church(ie the work of the devil will infiltrate the Church). I think the Third Secret goes into more detail, some of which would be scandalous, the Fr Dollinger thesis wouldn't surprise me at all, or Satan infiltrating to the top. Likewise I think Neues Europa contains some true parts of the secret and then experienced additions.

"What are we to think of this text (neues europa)? When it first appeared, it was difficult to say. A Fatima expert as competent as Father Messias Dias Coelho saw fit to publish it in 1964, in his review Mensagem de Fatima. In 1971, he was still hesitant, and refused to reject it as completely inauthentic, for two reasons:

«1. The affirmation recently made to me by an eminent Cardinal, whose name we will keep secret for the moment. According to him, the text in question contains some exaggerations (which we had already noted in 1964), but fundamentally it corresponds to the truth. 2. The fact that the central nucleus of the text in question, as moreover everybody recognizes, is the prediction of a future climate of division within the Church, a prophecy which was unbelievable eight years ago (the publication of Neues Europa dates from 1963), but is a reality today!"

btw Hannah, thanks for those other links, Ned Dougherty's prophecies from his 2001 book seem to be materialising especially the earthquakes, tidal waves, volcanic eruptions and erratic weather patterns he was warned of.

Found out in an Italian book online that the Musco prophecy was published for the first time in the 1970's.

She is the plagiarist in my opinion.

Re: The Neues Europa article.

It has at least one undeniable error. Before getting into the contents of the Third Secret the article claims that Mary mentioned the solar miracle: "This miracle which you have just seen was the great miracle of the sun!...And now, announce this..."

Those words are patently false, as everyone here knows the third secret was not revealed immediately after the solar manifestation but rather three months before the miracle of the sun.

Another problem with Neues Europa is that the Neues Europa version is bloated with too many lines to be a precise copy of the Third Secret. It seems to be at least twice as long as it should be.

Another. Is the Neues Europa version has absolutely no connection whatsoever to the vision of the Pope in the vision released in the year 2000.

However, there are various reasons to believe that some parts of the Neues Europa article are true.

One example. The 1963 Neues Europa version states: "Millions and millions of men will lose their lives from one hour to the next"

While Pope JPII at Fulda Germany in 1980 stated the exact same thing regarding the Secret: "and that from one moment to the next millions of people will perish,"

I've been thinking about that part: "Millions of people"...

Unimaginable. Then who will be saved? There has to be a remnant.

Right?

The "millions upon millions" happens after God alerts the whole world to the truth (ie: after the Garabandal sort of illumination warnings).

Maybe the word "various" is too broad. I should write there are "some" reasons to believe some of it.

I agree Anon, the chastisement will happen after the warning. And as far as Medjugorje, I don't understand how uniting Christians, Jews and Muslims this week is something that would come from Satan. The crowds were intense. And even the Muslims were in tears. I think those who don't believe in Medjugorje should maybe visit there. It's really quite remarkable.

Anon thanks for digging that text in Italian.

"Maybe the word "various" is too broad. I should write there are "some" reasons to believe some of it."

I think most here will agree with this re Neues Europa.

Fr Stefano Manelli who has been pushing the TLM and was in the centre of the recent furore regarding the liturgy and the Franciscan Friars (where Pope Francis intervened) was Musco's spiritual advisor and wrote a book on her life, I am trying to source a copy written in English. I am interested in discerning this issue further.

Re Akita I have banged heads with Emmett on this a bit - Our Lady mentions the chastisement and survivors will be left with the sign of her Son. Emmett thinks like you that the sign will come first so that people can repent. Perhaps both are right - maybe the sign will preceed the chastisement so as to bring many to an emergency repentance and then it will remain after the chastisement as solace for those who "will envy the dead".

Hannah, one of the more interesting personal visions I have heard of was relating to a woman that Fr Benedict Groeschel knew. She had a dream one night of being in a huge building and it collapsed with dust and carnage everyone. She told many friends of this and 3 days later died in the WTC tower collapse on Sep 11. In the vision a battered Jesus held her up and told her everything was going to be ok - she saw people around her falling down screaming (were they going to Hell or just their death in the vision I am not sure, I suspect the former).

Well, Hannah, Muslims and Jews took the time to go and see what the apparition of Medjugorje was all about. And many of them were interviewed and said they were touched. They felt the grace of God, which led them to tears. I believe most true Catholics would be jumping for joy with this news. It is truly miraculous. Unfortunately, the mainstream media did not cover this story. Traditionally, we were taught that only through the Catholic Church we can be saved, but today "Catholics believe that the Church is the sign of God's presence in the world, that all those who come to God do so through the medium of the Church even when they themselves do not recognize the Catholic Church's role in their salvation." If the Medjugorje apparition brings those from different religions closer to God, whether they convert or not, it's still a miracle from God. God's presence is in their hearts too. Now, if you are young Hannah, you should know this about our religion. I'm assuming you've had a Catholic education in this decade. BTW isn't it great Pope Benedict admitted to having a mystical experience about his resignation? So many believed he was ousted from the Vatican. Such nonsense.

Anonymous said...

Mariana,

"Traditionally, we were taught that only through the Catholic Church we can be saved but today..."

To remind you the Church didn't begin with Vatican II. The Church still teaches what she's always taught. Vatican II didn't change that. What does the Church teach? There is no salvation outside the Church unless you're invincibly ignorant, which is highly unlikely today. You have all the information you need at the click of a mouse. What does this mean for us Catholics? Well, we have to do all in our power to bring people to the Church. Thankfully, one day the Protestants and all false religions won't exist. The Catholic Church will be the only True Faith in the world as it should be.

"Now, if you are young Hannah, you should know this about our religion. I'm assuming you've had a Catholic education in this decade."

Yes, I am young. I'm 16 and study my Faith as much as I am able, which is most of my free time. I understand what the Faith teaches. I know that the Popes and the early Church Fathers have always taught there is no salvation outside the Church. Here we go:

Saint Ambrose (died A.D. 397): "Where Peter is therefore, there is
the Church. Where the Church is there is not death but life
eternal. ...Although many call themselves Christians, they usurp the
name and do not have the reward."

Saint Jerome (died A.D. 420): "As I follow no leader save Christ, so
I communicate with none but your blessedness, that is, with the
Chair of Peter. For this, I know, is the rock on which the Church is
built. ...This is the ark of Noah, and he who is not found in it
shall perish when the flood prevails. ...And as for heretics, I have
never spared them; on the contrary, I have seen to it in every
possible way that the Church's enemies are also my enemies."

Saint Augustine (died A.D. 430): "No man can find salvation except
in the Catholic Church. Outside the Catholic Church one can have
everything except salvation. One can have honor, one can have the
sacraments, one can sing alleluia, one can answer amen, one can have
faith in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy
Ghost, and preach it too, but never can one find salvation except in
the Catholic Church."

And:

Saint Thomas Aquinas (died A.D. 1274): "There is no entering into
salvation outside the Church, just as in the time of the deluge
there was none outside the ark, which denotes the Church." (Summa
Theologiae)

"If the Medjugorje apparition brings those from different religions closer to God, whether they convert or not, it's still a miracle from God."

Rather, if the Medjugorje apparition is authentic, I'm assuming the Blessed Virgin would want all to convert to Her Son's Church. Dialogue and gettin' together and all this is pointless if it's not leading the people to the One, True Church without which there is no salvation. Now, I'm not getting into a debate on Medjugorje. All the lies, disobediennce etc. is enough to turn me off. I stay with what's approved by the Bishop and always will. If it's not approved I'm having nothing to do with it.

"Isn't it great Pope Benedict admitted to having a mystical experience about his resignation?"

I found that really interesting. Such interesting times we are living in indeed.

And lest I forget the Vicars of Christ:

“By faith it is to be held that outside the apostolic Roman Church no one can achieve salvation.” -Bl. Pius IX

St Pius X “Pope St. Pius X
Catechism of Christian Doctrine

“29 Q. But if a man through no fault of his own is outside the Church, can he be saved?
A. If he is outside the Church through NO FAULT of his, that is, if he is in good faith, and if he has received Baptism, or at least has the implicit desire of Baptism; and if, moreover, he sincerely seeks the truth and does God’s will as best he can such a man is indeed separated from the body of the Church, but is united to the soul of the Church and consequently is on the way of salvation”

“We declare, say , define, and pronounce that it is absolutely necessary for the salvation of every human creature to be subject to the Roman Pontiff.”
-Pope Boniface VIII, Unam Sanctam (1302 AD)

“The Most Holy Roman Church firmly believes, professes and preaches that none of those existing outside the Catholic Church, not only pagans, also Jews, heretics, and schismatics can ever be partakers of eternal life, but that they are to go into the eternal fire ‘which was prepared for the devil and his angels’ (Mt. 25:41) unless before death they are joined with Her… No one, let his almsgiving be as great as it may, no one, even if he pour out his blood for the Name of Christ can be saved unless they abide within the bosom and unity of the Catholic Church.”
Pope Eugene IV, ex cathedra, Council of Florence, Cantate Domino (1441 AD)

The holy universal Church teaches that it is not possible to worship God truly except in Her and asserts that all who are outside of Her will not be saved.”
Pope Saint Gregory the Great (590-604)

“By heart we believe and by mouth confess the one Church, not of heretics but the Holy Roman, Catholic, and Apostolic Church outside which we believe that no one is saved.”
Pope Innocent III, Eius exemplo, 18 December 1208

“Some say they are not bound by the doctrine which teaches that the Mystical Body of Christ and the Roman Catholic Church are one and the same thing. Some reduce to a meaningless formula the necessity of belonging to the true Church in order to gain eternal salvation. Others finally belittle the reasonable character of the credibility of Christian Faith. These and like errors, it is clear, have crept in among certain of our sons who are deceived by imprudent zeal for souls or by false science.”
-Venerable Pope Pius XII, Humani Generis

"united to the soul of the Church." This is what it takes to be on the path of salvation. Vatican II is an extension of our religion. There are many layers to our faith. And each time we peel a layer, we come closer to the truth. From the Old Testament to the New, it is constant learning.

To Jamie, Hannah et al. Do not believe all that you read in the papers. This from one of my favourite UK bloggers. www.mundabor.wordpress.com

Don’t believe the rumours. Believe the facts.

The fact is that the Pontiff Emeritus has said that he did not have the strength, both spiritual and physical, to continue his job as Pope. That’s what he said.

Now there are third-hand, unnamed rumours according to which Benedict would have had a mystical experience (actually many months long; heavy stuff, then…) at the end of which he felt inspired to live a life totally dedicated to prayer.

This already strange news – from, let us say it again, an unnamed source – is made even stranger by the other follow-up rumour, that Benedict would have recognised even more, after “witnessing the charisma” of Francis, that his stepping down was “the will of God”.

Please.

God’s will doesn’t change like the one of a sixteen year old girl, so it remains to be explained how Benedict would justify saying “my successor does all the contrary of what I do, but he has “charisma”, so it must be the will of God that he is now the Pope”. It does not make sense from a purely logical point of view, but it makes even less sense if you think Popes are elected at God’s bidding (they aren’t: the Pope is elected by those chaps in red called the Cardinals. Don’t blame God for the Cardinals’ mistakes, irreligious attitude, cowardice, corruption or outright criminal attitude).

If God positively decides who becomes Pope, than this must be a very strange God, positively imposing several dozens of appallingly secular or outright criminal people to His own flock. He would also be as fickle as the above mentioned girl, having decided in 2005 for Ratzinger against Bergoglio and now saying “on second thoughts, Joseph, that in 2005 might have been, like, kinda mistake. I’d rather have the other chap. Would you mind to step down? Please?”.

If you ask me, this is uncontrolled bollocks spread by those who want to give Francis the quality seal “officially endorsed by the Holy Ghost”.

Don’t believe the rumours.

When, and only when, Benedict says publicly that Francis is the man hand picked by the Holy Ghost to be Pope, call a doctor and don’t believe a word anymore of what he says; then in that case it would be clear the good man has clearly gone the sad way of John Paul II; gone, in fact, to the point of insulting the Holy Ghost and the Papacy at the same time. A Koran-kissing Pope, Mk II.

Heavens, can it really be that we live in such stupid times that basic Truth can be undermined by this kind of third-rate bollocks by hearsay? Can it truly be that there are people not only simple enough to think God wanted (as opposed to “allowed”) that the likes of Benedict IX and Leo X, of Liberius and John XXII, and of many others, become Pope, but even that in doing so God would not be able to let even eight years pass without radically, erm, changing His mind?

Such a hypothetical God wouldn’t be believable in a kindergarten, but it must be obviously just the ticket of the V II “revolution” crowd. If the narrative of the “hand picked by the Holy Ghost” were to swallowed by the faithful, we would have a new infallible magisterium, but endowed with a, erm, more recent and “fresher” infallibility than the original one! “Hey, Francis was the man picked by the Holy Ghost with his own hands! How can every blasphemy, heresy or stupid novelty he says not be the new will of God?”.

God is immutable. God never changes His mind, or His rules. If He did, He wouldn’t be God, because the very idea of mutation, of change, of transition is in contradiction with the idea of total, omnipotent perfection that must perforce be an essential element of God. If it is God, it does not change His mind. Whatever changes his mind, can never be God.

If anyone says or implies God “changes his mind” tell him to wash his mouth, and that he deserves to be slapped.

Don’t believe the bollocks by hearsay.

Mariana,

There is no need to keep throwing insults, in this case labeling Paul a Protestant and then throwing out your sweeping ill conceived thoughts, and which you defend like no tomorrow to try save face.

Not every pope is chosen by the Holy Ghost, but permitted at times. God permits corrupt/weak churchmen as a chastisement when he sees fit.

Re Vatican II much of what is in the documents are good but there are time bombs and these have been exploited by liberal churchmen. Yes the knowledge of our faith has deepened over the centuries in response to questions people have raised not to mention heresies that have popped up. However a few ambiguities in VII have meant the creation of a new religion without it being dogmatic (which is impossible). The new "Catholic" religion is one that doesn't seek to convert to the true Faith and sacraments; is apologetic to the rigors of the Church past; and that tells people to simply be and do good without telling them all goodness is rooted in God's law as revealed by the perennial Magisterium. The new religion is then "affirmed" by the "Gospa" of Medjugorje but once again the good Lord in his grace has ensured the early tape recordings of the visionaries were made/kept so that all the blatant lies and scandal reveal the true origin of this apparition.

The spirit of Medjugorje: "My Son and I do not cut the cake where faiths are concerned."

Can you imagine Our Lady of Fatima making such a statement?

What you have to remember is that many theologians who made key contributions to VII were censured during Pius XII's reign. Good fruit doesn't come from such people let alone a "deepening" of our faith. Instead the fruit is summarised by the Kenneth C Jones indicators that I refer you to again which seems to have been conveniently forgotten.

If you want to look at just one issue and how ambiguity and imprecision have hijacked the faith look into Religious Liberty and please read and digest the following article by John Salza:

Jamey,

Well said!

Once again, you hit the nail right on the head, as always.

"The spirit of Medjugorje: "My Son and I do not cut the cake where faiths are concerned."

Can you imagine Our Lady of Fatima making such a statement?"

LOL exactly! True Apparitions convert people to the One True Faith. All you have to do is look to Fatima and the Miracle of the Sun. If the "Gospa" thinks it's ok to be a member of a false religion, then I'm sorry, any Catholic can see that is absolutely false. Because it is NOT ok, no matter how much one wants to beat around the bush.

I guess all the people, which is a large majority of Catholics, believe an apparition that speaks like this and even has obvious scandal and lies associated with it, Jamey? Why follow this ridiculous apparition when you have plenty of approved ones, not to mention the whole treasure of the Church to delve into? Dogmas, Doctrines, our poor traditions which have been trampled underfoot for so long, etc? Is that not enough for these people? One does not discern on his own if an apparition is true. I've heard enough of that nonsense. No, you listen to what the Bishop says. Any disobedience to the Bishop (and there is plenty of it with Medjugorje, as I'm sure you know) is from the Devil. There's nothing he would like more than to separate the people from the Bishop in disobedience. Rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, Scripture says. I'm not rebelling against the Bishop! The Bishops of Medjugorje have never been favorable to this apparition. As has been said before here, Bishop Gemma has called this apparition "absolutely disbolical". Now, what does that tell you? That he doesn't know what he's talking about? Nope. He does. He's the Successor of the Apostles, for pete's sake. I'll listen to him any day, instead of this "Gospa" who claims to be the Mother of God. In the meantime, I shall stick to what is approved by Holy Mother Church and nothing more. This apparition seeks to distract people from the true Apparitions, from what I can tell. Those who follow Medjugorje are better off leaving it alone until Rome rules. Instead, they could benefit their souls better by studying the teachings of the Church and the true words of the Mother of God in Her approved Apparitions. Sounds reasonable.

Right?

And remember, the Devil can deceive EVEN the elect.

God bless!

No insults here Jamey. Just defending my faith. "We have a duty to love our Pope. We have a duty to trust that our Lord will not leave His flock shepherdless. We have a duty not to rashly judge our spiritual leaders. Accusing our present JP II, Pope Benedict or Pope Francis of being liars or corrupt or even calling any of them 'false prophet' is in itself a 'false statement' and a serious sin. We don't need any modern day pharisees in the Church. Pride is the worse of the seven capital sins, because one is too arrogant to even realize or confess this fault. Jesus promised that the gates of hell would never prevail against the Church. Obviously, Paul prefers to believe otherwise. So, if Paul believes the gates of hell, have indeed, prevailed, than he believes Christ is wrong. He believes the entire conclave of Bishops must be deeply wrong. And that Satan must have gotten his man in as Pope. That is the gate of hell prevailing against Christ's Church. Paul rejects the considered decision of the entire college of Cardinals assembled and sets himself as the authority. That would make Martin Luther very proud. Jesus said that He who rejects His apostles rejects Him. When Paul rejects the collective decision of all His apostles gathered in conclave, he rejects Him. Jesus leaves no wiggle room on this." Jamey, "the Church remains the ship God gave us in which to weather the storm." There was a world storm at the time of Martin Luther, but the Church prevailed. Luther's Church today is crumbling.

I meant to say past Pope JPII, and present Pope B and Pope F.

And about Medjugorje, the Church does not force us to accept these apparitions, it's up to our own discernment. I have personally been to one of the Medj meetings and met the seers, and found nothing earth shattering, Ohhhhh ahhhhhhh Booooo Scarrrryyy about them. In fact, it was a beautiful mass. And we all prayed the Rosary. People were there to praise God. The messages are not anti Catholicism or anti magisterium. The seers are respectful and loving to our Pope's. Gossip about this particular apparition, as well as having a Bishop against them is not new. Ask St. Bernadette. But don't get spooked.

Jamey said...

You are twisting things again - telling a Catholic that he is a Protestant is an insult. Let me guess you are "educating" others.

"We have a duty not to rashly judge our spiritual leaders."

Once again you are mingling truth with error, yes we don't rashly judge our leaders but when we witness the demolition of the Faith as over the past 50 years then it is indeed reasonable to question matters and those who have overseen the lot; this is not rash.

I have said it before if Medjugorje is true anything may as well be. Read the case study of LaPalma where huge prayer vigils, heroic penances were being performed. Some people who traveled there were swept by the level of devotion, the like of which they hadn't witnessed before. The chief seer Clemente eventually named himself pope and excommunicated Pope John Paul II. The devil works in the realm of feeling and inducing awe, but facts are facts, dogma is dogma and we have reason to guide us through the murky waters.

Hannah, unfortunately some churchmen such as Rene Laurentin have been complicit in trying to conceal disturbing facts on Medjugorje.

mariana said...

Medjugorje is not excommunicating any of our pope's. I'm not saying to believe in the apparition. Cause I don't really know if it's true or not. But so far, it's harmless, and it has done a lot of good. So who knows? Pope B and JP II have never forbid people to go. They were quite positive about it. Never heard of DePalma, but if they excommunicated JP II, wouldn't that please the conservative, rigid, pharisee that pretends to be Catholic? Medjugorje is the absolute opposite of De Palma. The messages are always supporting our Pope's.

Mariana

I love the Pope. I pray for him every day. That doesn't mean that everything he says and does is right That is not part of what constitutes papal infallibility. Now I have serious issues with the current Bishop of Rome, as do most traditionalists. Even more so our prayers are needed for a pope who we feel is not devoted to the Latin Mass and Tradition, which he has made known by his actions and his words. He is a true son of VII.

With all due respect the Holy Ghost does not elect a pope. The college of cardinals do that, sometimes under the inspiration of the HG sometimes rejecting the Paraclete. By saying that does not make me a Protestant, I fail to see the leap of logic in that statement. As Catholics we are advised to stay close to the Church. The Church, under the authority of the local ordinary, to whom the Church gives that authority, has pronounced against Medj, on two occasions, as has also happened at Garabandal. As far as the Church is concerned, that is it. That is why Traditional Catholics don't go there, out of obedience to the Church.

Jamie is right to question the actions of our bishops, particularly for the loss of faith that is devastating the vineyard. It is truly frightening.

The Holy Mass, the sacraments prayer and penance are all that is left us now. Armed with the Rosary that Our Lady begged us to pray every day.

Immaculate Heart of Mary Pray for us!

Let me to tell you all something. I love and respect the Clergy no matter what. You'll never hear me disrespect a Bishop or Priest. But, we're in a serious crisis right now. All my prayers go to the Clergy.

They must start leading and teaching truth, not watered-down, feel good nonsense. Thankfully, there are Bishops and Priests out there who teach Truth. I was taught truth in RCIA. I read the Summa Theologica when I was 13. I don't want watered down nonsense that makes everyone feel good. We have had ENOUGH of that in the Church today. No wonder Catholics are lukewarm and no different than the world. Our Bishops and Priests have to come out and say enough is enough. They must start being leaders.

We wouldn't have to go on and on about this if everything wasn't fine. Because it's not. Those who think it is need to get their heads out of the sand.

Answer me this: Why has there been terrible catechesis for so long? How come children aren't learning the Baltimore Catechism? How come a large majority of Catholic don't believe in the Real Presence, don't go to Mass (too hard to worship your God, huh?), don't go to Confession, use contraception and do every other kind of evil? How come the Mass has been watered down into a 'me me me' service (active participation is entering into worship with your mind and heart BTW)? How come sin isn't talked about from the pulpit? How come Catholics despise tradition and everything we stand for, everything our forefathers in the Faith loved? How come? I could go on and on and on.

The answer: Modernism, which is the synthesis of all heresies. Modernism has affected the Church to it's core. We need another Pope St. Pius X to rid the Church of it.

You are right, Paul. Traditional Catholics have nothing to do with Medjugorje because of the lies and disobedience.

"But so far, it's harmless"

No, Mariana, Medjugorje is not harmless. Disobeying the Bishop is harmless? Not according to the Church.

Also, we've never seen her ears or her feet. Hm, I wonder why?

God bless!

"sometimes under the inspiration of the Holy Ghost." You are such a contradiction Paul, you can't help it. Who do you think is the Holy Ghost? And who's Church does this belong to? You mean God is not in charge all the time of His own Church? The Cardinals are His apostles. And yes, our Church has revolved because God permits it. He may not change, but He changes us. You can't handle that, cause you are too frightened. Well, pray for courage and hopefully your cynicism will disappear. Our Catholic Church will always be standing, whether we have Traditional mass or not. I know it was difficult for the Jews to witness changes in their own religion, but that's life. You need to enjoy your Latin mass, and be content you still have one. Get back on board with the Catholic Church. Obey Christ.

Mariana,

Please stop with the insults. Everything Paul and Jamey are saying is true. If you can't see that, then I suggest you go study your Faith.

Of course God is in charge of His Church. That doesn't mean every man elected was chosen by the Holy Ghost. Was Alexander VI chosen by the Holy Ghost?

"You need to enjoy your Latin mass, and be content you still have one."

As if it could ever be taken away? Nope. Doesn't work that way. I don't appreciate your tone of speaking. You should be more careful. This is the Mass that nourished the Saints. This is the Mass where Heaven meets Earth. You KNOW you're in the presence of God at the Latin Mass. I know from experience and am blessed to be able to sing Gregorian Chant at one.

Please be considerate. This is Emmett's blog.

It seems that Chiesa Viva at the present delineated from the purpose of Padre Pio & Fr. Villa. Padre Pio is a model of obedience even though he doesn't like the changes happened during his time.

We are in the presence of God regardless of whether it is a Latin mass or not. Typical of traditionalists discarding all other Catholic masses, and on who's authority? You should know the Church is the temple of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the soul of the body of Christ and directs the Church. Again, for the 100th time, not all Pope's have been perfect. Many of them have sinned more than others. But God permits always, not sometimes, but always permits such painful upheavals "only as occasions and means for displaying all the power of his arm and the whole measure of the love he wants to give the world." The Church was not perfect during the era of Latin Mass, and it is not perfect today either. The Church will receive its perfection only at the time of Christ's glorious return. Until that day, you must accept that the Church "progresses on her pilgrimmage amidst this world's persecutions and God's consolations." My tone is quite careful and considerate, thank you.

Jamey said...

"We are in the presence of God regardless of whether it is a Latin mass or not."

Even if we are in a clown Mass? The gestures and symbols of the TLM communicate something and as such they aren't arbitrary and can be thrown out on a whim as happened in the 70's onward. The more precise the gestures of a Mass (ie ad orientem), the more solemn and dignified the more it will foster and retain Catholic belief.

"Typical of traditionalists discarding all other Catholic masses, and on who's authority?"

No you are presenting a strawman again, either you haven't done your homework or are being willfully deceptive - most traditionalists do not write off the other time tested and approved rites such as the Ukrainian rite, and the Melkite rite. We simply do not like the rite that resembles the apostate Cranmers service that has resulted in the evisceration of Catholic faith and ultimately civilisation.

"The Church was not perfect during the era of Latin Mass, and it is not perfect today either. The Church will receive its perfection only at the time of Christ's glorious return. Until that day, you must accept that the Church "progresses on her pilgrimmage amidst this world's persecutions and God's consolations."

Once again trads will not disagree on this and you present it as though they do - that is a strawman.

Like Jamey said, if there is a bunch of abusus going on at the Novue Ordo, your telling me God is pleased with that? He's there, but that constitutes sacrilege. I've gone to reverent Novus Ordos and I'm grateful for that (I've never been to NO ad orientem. My Diocese doesn't even have them...). At the same time, I've been to N.Os that emphazise community and love and all this, while there's armies of Extraordinary Ministers all over the altar (BTW, who would want to touch the Holy of Holies?), altar girls (they can't be Priests so why do it?), women barely clothed (Dress no differently than the world in the House of God? Come on), etc etc. I don't go to those Masses unless I absolutely have to. The Mass is the sacrifice on Calvary. I have a hard time seeing that at the Novus Ordo, yet I do at the Latin Mass, for various reasons.

The Litury is important. If you don't get that right, you don't get anything right. It is the worship of God. I care that God is worshiped properly.

I am and always will be a traditionalist

Why? Let the great Pope St. Pius X answer:

"For the true friends of the people are neither revolutionaries nor innovators, but traditionalists."

So, I'll leave it at that.

God bless!

What is the most important part of the Mass is the Eucharist. Period. Liturgy is important as a means to accomplish the Eucharist. So to be obsessed over the liturgy is not want Christ wants us to focus on. And yes, I have no problem with criticizing some masses like the one with balloons, but to focus against the Ordinary Form of the mass on a constant basis over the Latin Mass is not healthy for our Church. There are plenty of fine masses in this world. Heck, go to the Holy Land and attend one of the Franciscan Ordinary Form masses. You literally end up with tears of joy. In other words, you are ridiculously complaining over obedience. If we could all just get along. I mean didn't Pope Benedict try to bring in the Trads in a most congenial manner? Why can't the Trads accept the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Reform will happen when our Church unites. When there is division, there is sin. I can't understand how the two of you can't figure that out.

Jamey said...

"to focus against the Ordinary Form of the mass on a constant basis over the Latin Mass is not healthy for our Church"

Again I refer you to Kenneth C Jones' indicators. 75% of Catholics attended Mass pre 1965 now around 10%. Labelled the twentieth century doctor of the Church, Deitrich von Hildebrand said:

""Truly, if one of the devils in C. S. Lewis's The Screwtape Letters had been entrusted with the ruin of the liturgy, he could not have done it better."

So if the devils truly were involved does it surprise to see the Great Apostasy we are witnessing. The way to destroy Catholic influence in civilization is by creating a destructive rite of Mass as the ordinary form. We now have partial birth abortion and gay "marriage" sweeping the world.

ciao.

Jamey,

I found that my last post was caught up in a train of posts between you & Mariana. I just wanted to say that it has nothing to do with these posts between you & her. Though I'm obedient to the Pope, I have a preference to the Tridentine Mass. It doesn't mean that if we are obedient, we cannot have our own opinion with regard to externalities, I'm not referring here to doctrines of the faith ex cathedra. St. John Vianney has his own opinions different from his bishop regarding a boarding school & he obeyed his bishop. Obedience is submission of our wills but we can still form our opinions with regard to externalities.

Liturgy is very important because it is inseparable to the Holy Eucharist which is the summit of Christian life.

Medjugorje seems to be with lies & deceits.

Peace to all.
Jakob

mariana said...

Thank you Jacob, I agree with you on everything but Medjugorje. But then again we both can have different opinions on this and it wouldn't matter. It's not that the liturgy does not matter, as long as certain basics are kept in place to accomplish the Eucharist, liturgical style is not important. And yes, it's okay that you prefer the Latin mass, I truly enjoy the Ordinary form. Having a choice is a good way to include everyone.

75% of those who say they're Catholic don't even believe in the Real Presence of Christ in the Holy Eucharist? Anybody care to give me a thorough explanation of that? Anybody care to tell why Catholics don't go to Mass, or Confession? Anybody care to tell me why Catholics use birth control and contraception? Anybody care to tell me how many Catholics that go to the Novus Ordo understand it's the sacrifice of Calvary? I wonder..How many do? I thought it was just a celebration about community and luv where everybody dresses like they're going to a bar and the ball game? I wonder why that is? Yet, everything is all fine in the Church today when we are living through the Great Apostasy? I thought we were the light of the world yet we do everything the world does.

One suggestion: Listen to Michael Voris. He wake those who are not listening up.

We are in the world, but not of it. Time the Church started emphasizing that again, eh?

Thanks for the link Hannah, my grandma linked many of the major fires breaking out around the world with Akita when I told her of that apparition. Maybe these fires are a warning as Michael Brown comments in the article.

Looking at the Russians chastising the West, a bishop mentions the situation in Syria could lead to WWIII if the Americans intervene:

A Chaldean Catholic bishop in Syria has warned that Western intervention could lead to a world war, according to a report from the Assyrian International News Agency.

“If there is an armed intervention, that would mean, I believe, a world war,” said Bishop Antoine Audo, SJ. “That risk has returned.”

“We hope that the Pope's call for real dialogue between the warring parties to find a solution can be a first step to stop the fighting,” he added.

.................................

I must disagree with the bishop that dialogue can be a solution, it is a bandaid solution. We know that war and calamities are a punishment for sin. Sr Lucia herself warned of WWII if mankind didn't repent and return to God.

Yes, I heard. I wasn't following this too much until there was mention of a World War. Got my attention.

And is mankind repenting and turning to God? Am I about to witness bloodshed in my country? What am I supposed to do, Jamey? I always feel so helpless. I know these chastisements are coming, yet there's no way to prevent them unless we repent, right? I'm witnessed the beginning of them now with all this extreme weather lately, to the fire and now mention of War.

Where are we in Prophecy now, Emmett? Jamey?

Our final hope is the Consecration of Russia. Maybe, just maybe Pope Francis will prevent this.

I don't know if I'm ready for these chastisements. Pray for me, please Jamey...

Time to revisit these Prophecies from Sr. Elena Aiello again...

It's interesting that she was beatified just last year.

Emphasis is mine:

Our Lord

Good Friday (April 16) 1954

"The wills of men do not change. They live in their obstinacy of sin. More severe are the scourges and plagues to recall them to the way of God; but men still become furious, like wounded beasts and harden their hearts against the Grace of God. The world is no longer worthy of pardon, but only of FIRE, destruction and death."

Our Lady

April 8, 1955

"The rulers of nations make so much ado and speak of peace. But instead, the whole world will SOON be at war, and all mankind will he plunged into sorrow, be cause the justice of God will not be delayed in fulfilling its course, and these events are near. Tremendous will be the upheaval of the WHOLE WORLD, because men — as at the time of the Deluge — have LOST God’s way, and are RULED by the spirit of Satan’.

‘Priests must unite by prayers and penance. They must hasten to spread the devotion to the Two Hearts. The hour of my triumph is CLOSE AT HAND. The victory will be accomplished through the love and mercy of the Heart of My Son, and of My Immaculate Heart the Mediatrix between men and God, By accepting this invitation, and by uniting their tears to those of My Sorrowful Heart, priests and religious will obtain great graces for the salvation of poor sinners."

Our Lady

August 22, 1960

"If the people do not recognize in these scourges (of nature) the warnings of Divine Mercy, and do not return to God with truly Christian living, ANOTHER TERRIBLE WAR WILL COME FROM THE EAST TO THE WEST. RUSSIA WITH HER SECRET ARMIES WILL BATTLE AMERICA; WILL OVERRUN EUROPE."

Any idea where Russia stands right now?

She said her triumph is near at hand...

Hannah,

I am not sure on a few things. I do think we are on the brink of the "annihilation of nations" and probably "fire falling from the sky", I think the former a world war and the latter a supernatural chastisement. I do think there will be continued earthquakes, floodings and volcanic eruptions in the meantime. I do believe that Russia will be consecrated at last and there will be an era of peace which to me suggests the antichrist would come later as I thought he will come at the very end of the world (the last 3.5 years). But if he was to come "near" the end of the world and not the "very end" then he could rear his ugly head soon especially given the current anti-Christian climate. I have sometimes thought of Obama but as I understand the antichrist will be largely unknown to the world and then suddenly appear, dominate for 3.5 years, probably be a Jew and possess preternatural talents. Ultimately we have to live with a lack of certainty around certain issues but prophecy is unfolding before our eyes. My suggestion Hannah if too disturbing not to read this stuff before bedtime. Go to daily Mass if there is a reverent one nearby/otherwise Eucharistic adoration and make an act of spiritual communion.

The Syrian government would have had no overall motivation in launching a chemical attack it would only draw Western intervention against itself. Jamey,

I'll tell you what gives me hope, though.

Our Lady triumphs in the end! She said so. Even if all hell breaks lose, she still triumphs. We have an era of peace and the restoration of the Church to look forward, too. But, much suffering most come first. The Chastisements are imminant. It's hard to believe. I read this stuff, but seeing it happen is another thing. If people would repent, maybe we could avoid this. Yet, people still wallow in their sin. In reference to what you said about vice and virtue, Jamey, Christ said woe to those who call evil good and good evil, remember? And that's just what's happening all over the world today. Evil is glorified and treated as good. Christ said it would like it was in the days of Noah. And it is. It is. We're probably much worse off. What else is there to do now but pray?

Our Lady has held back the arm of her Son for long, as She said at LaSalette. How much longer will She be able to do it? She's warned us for so long and very few listen to her.

Anyway, just some thoughts.

As for the restoration of the Church. I just love this channel.

Syria may well be significant as it is home to some of the world's oldest Christian communities.

The Australian prime minister says there is "overwhelming evidence" that the Syrian Govt has chemical weapons. Australians are being urged to leave Syria so I suspect the dropping of bombs will soon commence. On the other side of the coin many nations are refusing to join the US so they seem prepared to attack Syria alone:

http://www.presstv.com/detail/2013/08/29/321157/us-ready-to-attack-syria-alone/

US Senator Rand Paul has warned the Obama administration that a military attack against Syria would set off “a major war” with Russia, a key ally of the Middle Eastern country.

“Are we going to slide into a major war with Russia on the other side of this and draw Russia into this war as well….this isn’t just a game of hey let’s push a button and blow up some people and tell them they shouldn’t use chemical weapons,” Sen. Paul said during a radio interview with Mofopolitics.com.

The Kentucky senator also suggested that the foreign-backed militants were more likely to have been behind last week’s chemical attack in the suburbs of Damascus."

http://www.presstv.com/detail/2013/08/29/321147/rand-paul-warns-us-of-war-with-russia/

Ned Dougherty correctly predicted 9/11 before the fact - although his 1984 nde visions haven't been approved he saw the US coastal areas being flooded and as a result its naval and military bases being incapacitated; from memory he foresaw the country being taken over by the Chinese (who are in union with Russia). He relates China and its army to the 200 million horsemen in the Apocalypse. Now if the US were to start a huge war with Russia and then be flooded on domestic soil as Emmett posits (but ahead of schedule from what he believes) that would go a long way to allowing a Russian/Chinese takeover. However if the Russians and Chinese possess special EMP technology that could cripple the US such a supernatural chastisement wouldn't be necessary. If the US go it alone then it could very well be left to itself in a war against Russia and China. Saying that the Third Secret and Blessed Aiello's visions seem to indicate Europe and other lands being overtaken.

A well versed trad Catholic I know believes Iran is also on the US radar for a bombing and looting takeover operation.

Emmett O'Regan said...

I don't think any attack on Syria will spill over into a wider conflict with Russia. In the Third Secret Our Lady protects us from a chastisement symbolized by the angel with the flaming sword, to allow for a period of penance (the era of peace/Second Pentecost). While this could be related to the Cuban Missile Crisis, or a war that Sr. Lucia mentioned was averted by the 1984 consecration, we still have not seen the era of peace/Second Pentecost - so this prophecy of Our Lady protecting us from a war/chastisement is perhaps not fully realized yet.
I think it is significant that we have another consecration coming up soon - just before the appearance of Comet Ison. Great graces will be poured out by this consecration even if Russia is still not specifically mentioned (but let's pray that it is). Interesting times indeed...

Jamey said...

Emmett, this is where we have differing opinions of the major sequence in events (eg when there will be the chastisement, renewal of Church).

It may not happen with Syria but if the US keep meddling in the Middle East and even worse orchestrating sinister events I think the Russians will eventually intervene. Much of it is tactical and timing - if the Russians have special weapons that can immobilise the US then it will come sooner, maybe they are still working on certain weaponry though, that is an unknown at this stage.

Jamey said...

Meant demobilise instead of immobilise above and the right word for the context would have been incapacitate.

Agree with you Emmett. I think we will be fortunate enough to receive many graces after Pope Francis consecrates the world to her heart. Very interesting times.

Jamey,

Did you ever come across about Fr. Villa's 3rd message and Quito , that the church will return to what it was?

Jamey said...

Charles, sorry I didn't get back earlier.

I haven't been able to find that quote. I do remember reading that, it might have been in Bob Sungenis/John Salza's book on the Consecration of Russia that I recently read and loaned to someone else.

Looking through the Quito prophecies there are a couple of relevant points here:
- There will be the loss of customs (this could refer to religious as well as general societal).
- There will come the restoration when Mary's Immaculate Heart triumphs.

So the Church returning to her customs may have been extrapolated from the above two points.

“The small number of souls, who hidden, will preserve the treasures of the Faith and practice virtue will suffer a cruel, unspeakable and prolonged martyrdom. Many will succumb to death from the violence of their sufferings and those who sacrifice themselves for the Church and their country will be counted as martyrs. In order to free men from the bondage to these heresies, those whom the merciful love of my most Holy Son has designated to effect the restoration, will need great strength of will, constancy, valor and confidence of the just. There will be occasions when all will seem lost and paralyzed. This then will be the happy beginning of the complete restoration.”

Emmett O'Regan said...

Hi Charles,

Yes it does seem rather significant that Comet ISON will appear shortly after the scheduled date for the consecration. And following this is the start of the tetrad sequence of blood moons occurring on Jewish feast days, beginning on Passover on 15th April 2014. Personally, I think that the date 1914 is highly significant in relation to the 100 years of Satan's greater power, which saw the outbreak of worldwide evil during WWI. If so, then the year 2014 may also be of significance to the Second Pentecost, which takes place at the end of the age of greater power, when the Serpent's head is crushed by the Woman Adorned with the Sun.

I could never remember where I read this and it's just what I've been saying, too. I am hanging on to all the treasures of the Faith, come what may. From what I've read, those who hung on to tradition after Vatican II did undergo a 'martyrdon'. We still are today, but I don't think it's as bad as it was then, is it? (All I can do is read about it and hear about the accounts of those who did live at that time since I was born way after). This is what she's referring too, isn't it?

Do you think I'll see the complete restoration? What a glorious time to look forward too. I hope I live to see it...

Emmett,
As time ticks on, I am becoming more open but still cautious about dates, years in this case. (I mean, how much longer can this world continue on its present course). I hadn't thought of 1914 but had been more inclined by 1917 as the year of impact for us, in re Fatima. With Archbishop Pietro Parolin being chosen after the resignation of Bertone, (hopefully a good thing) the timing might be that occasion for the consecration of Russia making more headway. Or maybe his duties will change re Fatima.

Maybe Ison will be remembered in the same vein as was the case of the ‘38 unknown light.

Jamey,

Thanks for that info. I've been trying to get a used copy of Salza/sungenis book. Must be still too soon. (I'm miserly, I know). In the meantime,

Charles, fair enough. Regarding the upcoming consecration of the world, I think we will see the law of diminishing returns kick in if Russia isn't named as per Heaven's requests. By the way for anyone who does First Saturday devotions, Sungenis and Salza in their book state the Saturday night vigil Mass doesn't count - I checked with the most knowledgeable priest I know and he confirmed this correct as the vigil Mass is effectively Sunday Mass.

He sees the chastisement in two parts first man made war, then one from Heaven. It will be of such scope it will enable a monarch to arise.

I think you are on to something Emmett. April of 2014 if things get worse, may be the year of the warning or miracle. Conchita of Garabandal said the warning will come when the world is facing war and communism. 2017, may also be the date to the Second Pentecost. After all, the Virgin Mary said Garabandal was an extension of Fatima. Interesting times indeed.

Emmett O'Regan said...

Thanks Mark! Seamus Heaney was a towering figure in Irish poetry, and is rightly regarded as the best since Yeats. Local schoolchildren here are reared on Heaney's poems.

Hannah, the time is certainly ripe for the coming of the Great Monarch. According to Medieval tradition, the reign of the Great Monarch would forestall the rise to power of the Antichrist. He was associated with the katechon - or "restraining force" of 2Thes 2:6-7. It is difficult to foresee how the Great Monarch could rise to prominence in today's climate though. I would assume he would have to be anointed by the pope, and for this to happen, it would surely have to be connected to some kind of huge political turnaround or an irrefutable private revelation to the effect that such or such a person should be anointed Holy Roman Emperor, much like in the days of the prophet Samuel:

"Now the day before Saul came, the LORD had revealed to Samuel: “Tomorrow about this time I will send to you a man from the land of Benjamin, and you shall anoint him to be prince over my people Israel. He shall save my people from the hand of the Philistines. For I have seen my people, because their cry has come to me.” When Samuel saw Saul, the LORD told him, “Here is the man of whom I spoke to you! He it is who shall restrain my people.”
(1Sam 9:15-17)

As well as being based on the examples of Constantine and Charlemagne, King David is one of the primary prototypes for this figure. David was similarly anointed King of Israel as a result of the prophetic insight of Samuel (1Sam 16:6-13). David, a mere child, the least of the sons of Jesse is anointed king, and the last is made first. Isaiah uses this in a prophecy which is often interpreted in the context of the Second Pentecost:

"The wolf shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the young goat, and the calf and the lion and the fattened calf together; and a little child shall lead them."
(Isa 11:6)

In this instance, Samuel would thus prefigure the Angelic Pope, who anoints the Great Monarch in prophetic tradition.

Emmett O'Regan said...

Jamey, the prophecies cited on that blog are all spurious. Take for example the prophecies that have been attributed to St. Nilus - they are often referred to as "pseudo-Nilus", and no references to them can be found outside of the 20th century. The following webpage gives a good critical take on these prophecies:
http://www.traditioninaction.org/Questions/B260_MoreNilus.html
It also attributes Great Monarch prophecies to figures such as St. Hippolytus and St. Augustine. However there were no Last World Emperor prophecies before the Tiburtine Sibyl and Psuedo-Methodius. A lot of commentators base their chronologies on these spurious prophecies, which can lead to confusion.

Jamey said...

All of them? That is a heck of a lot. I thought maybe a few could be out. Emmett, thanks for pointing those ones out and I am sorry to have jumped the gun people. A book could almost be written in itself distinguishing the genuine from spurious prophecies.

Emmett O'Regan said...

Not all of them, just the vast majority of them. It would be easier to list the ones that are factual. The prophecy by Monk Adso is genuine. The prophecy attributed to St. Methodius (4th cent.) is actually by Pseudo-Methodius (7th cent.), but is indeed of ancient origin. The rest are of uncertain or unknown origin. Even the prophecy attributed to Bl. Anne Emmerich is questionable, since a lot of the material attributed to her is thought to be a corruption made by her secretary Clemens Brentano.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact that we're on the verge of World War III. I pray the Pope can avert this.

He has proclaimed (his words) a day of prayer and fasting this coming Saturday, September 7th. Maybe he will consecrate the world then. I sure hope so. Or maybe he should consecrate Russia, just in case.. Drastic circumstances are going to call for drastic measures. You said yourself, Jamey, that the Pope and Bishops will be compelled to consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart if we're under drastic circumstances. Maybe this is it. Just a thought.

I've been delayed somewhat in writing my next post, between holidays and the fact that it has expanded into almost book length proportions (already well over 10,000 words and still not even near finished). I've also been asked to write a booklet on the topic of eschatology for the Catholic Truth Society, which will take up a lot of my time in between work. So I'll probably concentrate on a shorter post beforehand for the blog, which I feel is also important, concerning something of significance I have just recently noticed about the apparitions of Our Lady to St. Catherine Labore.

Emmett thanks again for digging that up. Are the John of Cleft Rock prophecies genuine or somewhat an unknown?

I will notify Catholic Knight on what you have provided as I am sure he is unaware some of those prophecies are spurious and probably got it from Duponts book? He contains many excellent and interesting articles on his site.

Spirit Daily had the following article regarding Syria and biblical prophecy:

http://www.christianpost.com/news/possible-us-attack-on-syria-being-linked-to-bibles-end-times-prophecy-103509/

Hannah, fortunately it seems much of the world's people have caught on that something is amiss about just going in and dropping bombs on Syria. However the US could go completely rogue especially with a president of the ilk of Obama who is possibly completely possessed and seems determined for war. Once bombs start falling things become very unstable and who knows what could happen from there. What is Russia's military might and what arms do they possess if they intervene? In any event I think the Russians will be working on weaponry in light of latest developments as they can see the US setting up puppet governments and intervening in all parts of the Middle East.

You raise the point about Emmett creating another post, I would personally like Emmett to write a bit about himself and his own Catholic journey, he is quite a mysterious character in ways ;-)

Emmett,

"I wouldn't worry too much about WWIII just yet Hannah. I am certain that a lot still has to happen before that will come about."

Okay, you're probably right. There's just something eerie about it all...

Can't wait to see the next post. I don't see how you do it. What you discover is amazing.

Jamey,

"In any event I think the Russians will be working on weaponry in light of latest developments as they can see the US setting up puppet governments and intervening in all parts of the Middle East."

Which is why Russia must be consecrated to the Immaculate Heart and soon. If it's been done, then why on earth is all this happening? It makes no sense.

"I would personally like Emmett to write a bit about himself and his own Catholic journey, he is quite a mysterious character in ways ;-)"

Good idea! You should tell us your conversion story, Emmett!

God bless.

What if these events lead to Pope Francis consecrating Russia and the US both? The Orthodox couldn't really be offended, since the consecration is simply asking for God to avert war. And so long as Russia is specifically named, even if the US or others are also named, the consecration would still be fulfilled?

I personally think a big war is coming. Perhaps not though. I'm not so sure about the chronology of end time events, but I'm not so sure I believe there's a Great Monarch and a prolonged period of peace before the anti-Christ. I personally believe the anti-Christ is coming fairly soon.

Perhaps not though.

All I know is that I live in NYC, and if there's a huge war... well.. hopefully my wife and I will be in a state of Grace when that time comes!

Jamey said...

KP and Hannah, what happens depends on the correct sequence of events.

Below is Emmett's sequence of major events followed by what I consider most likely:

E: Great apostasy > Event that will trigger Second Pentecost > Second Falling Away > Antichrist Reign > The Great Chastisement - the battle of Armageddon (Akita)> Final Judgement

J: Great Apostasy > Huge War (portion of Fatima 3rd Secret revealed) > The Great Chastisement from Heaven (Akita) > Consecration of Russia > Era of Renewal & Peace (Second Pentecost) > Second Falling Away > Antichrist Reign > Final Judgement

In the above I have omitted some events that I didn't consider necessary to our discussion.

I do pray and hope the Consecration happens sooner than later and that would change my equation. The revealed part of the Third Secret makes me think it will probably happen "late".

Jamey said...

KP, have you and your wife had enrollment in the Brown Scapular? A trad bookstore owner I know also told me the scapular needs to be made a certain way and she orders the ones contained in the following blog:

http://scienceagesamaic.blogspot.com.au/2012/07/brown-scapular-miracles.html

Apparently the cloth with the image must be cut smaller exposing some of the brown backing it sits on. She is very knowledgeable on Catholicism and quite sober so I take what she says seriously.

Hi all, I found the following comment on a thread about Comet ISON....

FYI the observatory were ISON was discovered is in Kislovodsk, Russia. Kislovodsk means, SOUR WATERS. Discovered by two men, one of whoms name is Artyom good ol google says Artyom is a name derived from ARTEMISIOS pretty close to ARTEMESIA (WORMWOOD). Usually comets are named after the discoverer, curious why not this time. Too obvious?

Wait a minute.

This comet is wormwood from the Book of Revelation?!

That's very interesting Carol! Sometimes prophecies can have several layers of interpretation, and some events foreshadow others still to come. That us hope that this does not portend a repeat of Chernobyl with Fukushima, or some other disaster. We'll have to wait and see.

Nice to see you here again Carol and always with interesting contributions.

Its useful to bear in mind Sr Lucia saying the Third Secret deals with Rev 8 - 13.

Revelation 8:6-10

"6. Now the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared to blow them.

7. The first angel blew his trumpet, and there followed hail and fire, mixed with blood, and these were thrown upon the earth. And a third of the earth was burned up, and a third of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up.

8. The second angel blew his trumpet, and something like a great mountain, burning with fire, was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood. 9 A third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.

10. The third angel blew his trumpet, and a great star fell from heaven, blazing like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water. The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and many people died from the water, because it had been made bitter."

I am aware much of Revelation is achronological. However this portion with First Angel, Second Angel, Third Angel etc seems to indicate a sequence in this passage. So would we expect the chastisements from those angels to happen in that order? If so do we expect hail and fire mixed with blood to be thrown on the earth to happen first before the Third Angel and Wormwood? Emmett I don't have your book on hand, did you have a thought on what the chastisement by the Angel of the First Trumpet corresponds with?

How could a comet hit the earth and cause a variety of watercourses to go bitter? Could it strike a nuclear reactor and thus cause something like Fukushima but on a wider scale contaminating numerous water supplies, ground or otherwise. Fukushima itself seems to be a serious problem with increasing radiation.

Something to also bear in mind is the same scientists could discover another later comet from that observatory that could be wormwood so may not actually be this one. All very interesting nonetheless.

You gotta switch era of peace/Second Pentecost.

Garabandal's Great Warning takes place before the era of peace.

St. Faustina experienced a type of the
Great Warning, she saw her life in

I think Obama handed this off to Congress to get out of the attack. two recent polls here in the US say that between 8% and 9% of the country is in favor of striking Syria. Pelosi came out today and said that she doesn't have the votes: 49 yes, 199 no. So even if it clears the Senate, the House will likely defeat it. And Rand Paul is going to filibuster it in the Senate, and Reid is having to recalculate everything as a result. The resolution getting through our Congress is getting less and less likely with each passing day. However, Comrade First Secretary Obama did say that he has the power to act alone should he choose to do so. But even then, it would trigger an almost immediate impeachment vote in the House.

You are right on when it comes to Putin, he is no mouse! Really think he may be the key to stabilize the situation. Hopefully. So, far I really like the guy. And as far as Obama not wanting to go into Syria, no I really believe he wants to. But Egypt frustrated him. The fact that his Muslim Brotherhood was ousted makes him just a bit more cautious. His plans are crumbling.

It shows no matter how disoriented people are with bread, flesh and circus, with each successive intervention in the Middle East they are becoming disillusioned to all this. It is heartening seeing ordinary folk being interviewed and realising something is very wrong with all this.

I really hope there is not another false flag or two. There is much still going on with the US seeking to train the militants and I suspect provide weapons. Other US-puppet Arab countries are willing to fund a US invasion.

I really liked in the above video where Putin yelled to the Russians: "No-one is going to come impose anything on us". I immediately thought of the anti-Christian and current homosexual agenda of the West.

Jamey - I meant to reply to your comment above, but keep getting distracted. The above prophecies on the Catholic Knight blog page are lifted directly from Desmond Birch's book, Trials, Tribulation and Triumph, which in turn uses sources such as Dupont's book. A large number of the prophecies found in those books are spurious. The authors quote them in good faith, but fail to check their sources. The St. John of the Cleft Rock prophecies are of unknown origin, and you'll be hard pressed to find them quoted in a book before the 20th century. Also for prophecies which claim to be written in the 14th century, they contain many anachronisms, such as mentioning "the land of [Martin] Luther" and the use of "firearms". So date wise, I would say they are definitely post-Reformation, and quite likely originated in the late 19th to early 20th century.

Hello Emmett,

Here is the link that Mariana was talking about - unfortunately the link she gave didn't work because of a missing full stop. It is Brother Gilbert at A Catholic Jew Pontificates
http://aronbengilad.blogspot.co.uk/2012/08/garabandal-miracle-april-13-2017.html

Totally irrelevant to this discussion, but slightly more relevant to Bro. Gilbert's latest post, I have worked out what may be the significance of the number 16670, which was tattooed on St Maximilian Kolbe's arm at Auschwitz. It is the number of days he had lived before the invasion of Poland - 8th January 1894 to 31st August 1939.

Feel free to check my maths, and don't forget the leap years.

And:

"Prophecy: Bishop Williamson on the Great Catholic Monarch"

Hint: This interview was from the 1980s before he was consecrated Bishop. He says there must be a Third World War... Very interesting insights minus the flaky Great Monarch Prophecies that show up in the video (that Emmett was talking about).

Hannah, I just managed to watch those videos, many thanks they were well done and must have took some effort and most certainly skill. The first was particularly eerie.

What he said in the video is something that has perplexed me, the following is not verbatim but gets the gist of what he was conveying:

"The surprising thing is if the sixth age is so short (eg such as the 25 years of peace and prosperity of La Salette) how will the Antichrist once again corrupt men's minds so fast especially after all the lessons we will have learnt after the Great Chastisement."

His belief it will be achieved by the Antichrist by:
a) prosperity where men once again forget God and
b) the Great Chastisement will be so bad that men will have actually in a way blocked out much of what we were doing before it happened and will not be well formed intellectually but will initially cling to God as many do in utter catastrophe. It reminds me of what Lefebvre said of the explosion of the Catholic Church in the US in the 40's and 50's it was spectacular but not solid as it wasn't well formed in the intellect of men. Overall for those of us adhering to the sequence as shown in the Williamson video there is a need for us survivors to inform other survivors why these things took place and warn of the looming Antichrist. Saying all that La Salette was out on some time frames (was catastrophe postponed by prayer?) so I am not personally certain on the 25 years.

Apparently during the 88 consecrations at Econe Williamson talked about World War III at length. He is never shy at bringing up controversial things. E.Michael Jones who had blasted the SSPX and Williamson in the past, picked his phone up one day and it was Bishop Williamson! Williamson told him he really enjoyed Jones' book "Monsters from the Id". They had a lengthy discussion and Jones said no matter how harsh things he said about SSPX or Williamson in the past, he didn't take it personally. They became friends and Williamson even stays with Jones and his family on occasions.

God Bless.

The part of the prophecy:

But what I saw, it is that if the judgment arrived in the century of 1900, it would come only towards the end, and that if the world exceeds this century, the first two decades of the century of 2000 will not pass without the judgment intervening, as I saw it in the light of God.

does not match up with the one I got from years ago:

"But what I saw, it is that if the judgment arrives in the century of 1900, it would only come toward the end; and that if it spends this century, the one of 2000 won't pass without it arrives, as well as I saw him in God's light..."

Emmett,

Did you get duped. It looks like "the first two decades of the century" might have been added to spice up the prophecy.

Emmett O'Regan said...

Thanks for pointing that out anon. I'll have to look into this further - I don't have the original source to hand, so can't check right now. There are so many spurious prophecies out there, and sometimes even the genuine ones are twisted along the way, which looks like might be the case with this one.

It gets even weirder:
http://vaticaninsider.lastampa.it/en/the-vatican/detail/articolo/santa-marta-36826/

The church teaches there is One God in Three Persons and NOT that God is 3 Persons. There is a distinct difference in the two teachings and one is correct, the other heresy.

And also ... what's with the "God does not exist" stuff and the "God Spray" stuff? Very strange utterances from Pope Francis. Was something lost in translation? Taken out of context?

I'm wondering if I should return to the SSPX church I used to attend ... though at this point ... I'm wondering if the sede's are correct. So in that case, neither the NO or SSPX are correct.

What do we do and where do we go if Rome apostatizes? Very concerned about the Synod ... I mean ... what are they doing????

Have they lost their minds?????

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

due to the HOLY BIBLES manifold dates, the Bible facilitates the creation of a gapless chronology from the creation of Adam to the millennial Sabbath of Yahshua Messiah in the Biblical Calendar year 6001 BK (2017 CE).
You can download GOD’s timetable free of charge e.g. from following website: http://issuu.com/eli.yah/docs/from_adam_to_the_millennium_of_yahs

» » » GOD’S 7000 YEAR AGENDA « « «

Together, watching the “mysterious” signs of our days and studying the records in the Bible (e.g. Matt 24), will give insight that 2017 CE will be a year out of the ordinary!

In 2017 CE, 6000 years will have passed since the creation of Adam, and the last 1000 years of the “7000 year Agenda of GOD” will be ushered in.

For information regarding “GOD’S 7000 YEAR AGENDA” please go to e.g.:
http://issuu.com/eli.yah/docs/gods_7000_year_agenda

Executive Summary:

The 7000 Year Plan of YHVH is not a new age concept. You come across this teaching, which is derived from the Bible, already in the Books of Irenaeus (Bishop of the early Church, 130 CE – 202 CE.

GOD – who controls all things – reveals in the Scriptures that at ‘the time appointed,’ the “End Time World Order” will be destroyed and
Jesus Christ (Heb.: Yahshua Messiah) will take over and establish His Millennial Kingdom.

Revelation 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, the kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our GOD, and of his Messiah; and he shall reign forever and ever.

But when will this happen? Are there any clues in the Holy Bible, which might lead to the year and maybe even to the season of His return (1.Thess 5:1, 4)? The answer is YES!

To be able to uncover GOD’S “hidden” message, we have to start recognizing that the Bible contains accurate data. The Holy Bible is not a fairy-tale book, as some in the world try to make us believe!

As a matter of fact, when you bring together the evidence contained in the “Old” Testament and the “New” Testament, you are able to count the years from the creation of Adam (3983 BCEi) to the Millennium of Jesus Christ (2017 CEii).

For information regarding ‘THE LAST DAYS’: please go to e.g. http://issuu.com/eli.yah/docs/armageddon_2017.docx or http://issuu.com/eli.yah

May EL SHADDAI YAHWEH, Elohim of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust, so that you may abound with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit (Heb.: Ruach ha Kodesh). (Rom 15:13)
