I'm in the final stages of preparing the revised version of my book for publication, and it should be available within the next couple of weeks. Given the fact that some substantial changes have been made, and the book is now doubled in length, it will be published under the new title Unveiling the Apocalypse: The Final Passover of the Church. I thought I would post the chapter outline here, so that readers can get a glimpse of what to expect concerning the changes that have been made in comparison with the older edition, and the amount of new material that has been added. While the first half of the book is still largely the same as the original, the second half is completely new material. The original material has also been updated throughout and expanded where necessary, and given the fact that a lot has happened over the last five years, a lot of these changes are quite significant.

Hi Emmett,
ReplyDeleteOnce published, please advise how we may be able to purchase a copy.
Regards,
Michael G
No problem Michael G! It should be available in paperback form on Amazon as soon as it's published. It might take a while before I can have a Kindle version ready, but I hope to be able to get an ebook version soon after the paperback is out.
ReplyDeleteHi Emmett,
ReplyDeleteI know you have been working overtime on this and at times undergoing persecution. Thank you for your labors - you are in my prayers.
Awesome Emmett. I was going to buy the old one awhile ago but decided to wait for the newer one. Are you working with a publisher or self publishing? What are you using for the book cover?
ReplyDeleteThanks anon!
ReplyDeleteI'll be self-publishing KP. This genre tends to get ignored by publishers, which makes it very time consuming chasing one. I fear that if I was to continue pursuing publishers, the book would be indefinitely delayed. I was thinking of using the image in the above post, since the eschatological defeat of Satan is one of the books primary themes.
Looks terrific, Emmett. I definitely want a paper copy. I can't make margin notes on my computer screen. Just let us know when we can get a copy.
ReplyDeleteMark
Looks very inviting!
ReplyDeleteI hope that when you're finished with the book, you will have more time to blog more. I miss your posts!
Did you try Angelico Press? info@angelicopress.com. John Reiss is the editor.
ReplyDeleteI was considering approaching Angelico Press. They published Stephen Walford's book Heralds of the Second Coming, and were recommended to me by the late Stratford Caldecott, who provided me with lots of support. That man was a legend! But I'm not too sure whether they consider anything in the genre of apocalyptic speculation. That particular niche is well catered for in Protestantism, but seems to be neglected in Catholic circles. The only current publisher I can think of that would cater for this subject is Queenship, but they are difficult to approach if you don't live in America (i.e. they don't accept electronic submissions). I'm hoping that I can get the book up to a respectable standard myself, without the benefit of an editor. I don't have the money to hire one.
ReplyDeleteGood grief, they don't accept electronic submissions? What is this, the 1980s?
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to get a copy of the new book, Emmett. I'm also happy to help proof it as much as you desire, but I don't think I'm a substitute for an official editor.
I'm still offering to narrate it for you for an audiobook version, too.
ReplyDeleteIt's interesting to see Mr. Caldecott mentioned. I just discovered him recently, and just finished "The Radiance of Being." He was gifted, for certain.
Emmett I'm curious if you see anything prophetic in Trump's remarks regarding recognition of a unified Jerusalem capital if he were to be elected. Are we on the precipice of a dramatic shift in policy, and if so, is this a precursor to foretold events?
Mark L.
That would cause some uproar if he did. Whatever the case may be, the events of the six day war definitely appear to be of immense prophetic significance. In this new version, I attempt to show how the prophecy of the 2,300 days in the Book of Daniel points directly to the Israeli occupation of Jerusalem in 1967, and helps to confirm the significance of the prophecies of the 1,260 and 1,290 days in relation to the restoration of Israel and the equation between the Dome of the Rock and the abomination of desolation.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your kind offer Cetera! It is deeply appreciated. I don't want to burden you with such a task though. It would be very time consuming, since the book is now around 800 pages.
