Time here appears to be irrelivant. A day to the Lord is as a thousand years.

The likelyhood that something exists in the universe as an I am we are could be seen here...though if thats the case, did all mankind have to graduate to get to that infinite point?
In the end 1000 years appears to be a connotation of something that never was and never will be. On the other hand the notion of mankind being a new creation in the heavens before heaven itself appears to be totally and completly possible.
In the end even within a new creation it could still fall away from the second death in its own way.

I guess the bigger question is the bible makes differentiation between the heavens and heaven itself. Is it possible for a permanent state in the heavens...where souls who are in the body pass away directly to heaven itself permanently, only to find that there in a permanent state in firmament or the heavens as well.

The word "Elder" in the majority of places where it is used in the Scriptures means the representative head of a city, family, tribe or nation, so the "Four and Twenty Elders" are representative of the redeemed human race.
Jesus only takes seat at the right hand of the father after his life and death on earth...which eternally already happened. In time there appears to be all kinds of notions that extend from this. We are born as our other trinitarian self after the death of antichrist and renewal of the world.
But in reality apart from time...it always was...Heaven..and the Heavens...The Father and I are one.

In other worlds the soul goes to heaven after death but there is a part of it that remains in the firmament. If you really look into it this would make more sense than a period of time where one becomes an eternal part of the souls eternity at a different level of resonating simply permanently and always was.... on the other hand the antichrist wants to impersonate the incarnate word who is that he is in time.... Maybe evil is simply struck down and we follow in the resurrection but only in the heavens...
If this were true, it could be an eternal echo of the most holy trinity. Its not to say there is any less joy for the soul eternaly in the heavens..Different yet fully connected as a whole.
of course if this is true, it shouldnt neglect the 24 elders that are outside of the salvific mission of mankind here in time where we reside. There could be dozens of dimentions where the soul potentially fully exists in time even in the heavens...but in its proper sense...a more biblical one...it may be that the heavens vs heaven is indicative of a trinitarian state of the soul...fully connected and at a higher level of being that is still one and the same in being. If this is the case, you will know.
On that note, you may just end up waking up in those higher diementions instead of heaven itself if you really believe in reincarnation down here below.

This scripture states that there is a new heavens and a new earth where the sea is no more. It is likely that the sea is no more from the three days of darkness during which fire falls from the sky melting the elements outside of where the new creation has manifested. The prophecies seem clear that this is the historical world or era of peace where sin and death remain until the destruction of Antichrist. Similar to Revelation 20, John only then goes on to further describe creation fully restored. He states in Revelation 21:2-26:
“Then I saw the holy city, the New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven, as beautiful as a bride all dressed for her husband. Then I heard a loud voice all from the throne saying. Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.

The question then to be asked then is if this new creation of the era of peace isnt fully restored until Revelation 21 two onward, than why did Christ in Matthew 13: 40-42 make immediate reference to a kingdom of the father following the end of the age or what prophecies seem to suggest is the three days of darkness? As Jesus states:
“Just as weeds are burned up with fire, so will it be at the end of the age. The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will collect out of his kingdom all causes of sin and all evildoers, and they will throw them into the furnace of fire, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father.”
The scriptural imagery in Matthew 13:40-42 is interesting in light of the prophesied chastisement. Similar to the prophecies, there is the allusion to fire. He declares that the end of the age will result in the destruction of ungodly men. This is exactly what the prophecies say will occur during the three days of darkness. He also states that His angels will be sent out during this universal judgment to claim all causes of sin. The prophecies of Catholic visionaries appear to allude to this scripture in referance to fallen angels, as even they are under the Lords subjection.
In Isaiah 35:1-7, Isaiah declares:
“The desert and the parched land will exult; the steppe will rejoice and bloom. They will bloom with abundant flowers, and rejoice with joyful song. The glory of Lebanon will be given to them, the splendor of Carmel and Sharon; they will see the glory of the Lord, the splendor of our God....Streams will burst forth in the desert, and rivers in the steppe. The burning sands will become pools, and the thirsty ground, springs of water; the abode where jackals lurk will be a marsh for the reed and papyrus.”
An historical age that some would claim is a partial restoration of Eden the curse remains but is mitigated could still be possible here if sin and death remain. The one objection to the notion is the imagery of the new creation.
For behold, I create New Heavens and a New Earth; the former things shall not be remembered or come into mind. But be glad and rejoice forever in that which I create; for behold, I create Jerusalem rejoicing and her people a joy. I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and be glad in my people; no more shall be heard in it the sound of weeping and the cry of distress. No more shall there be in it an infant that lives but a few days, or an old man who does not fill out his days, for the child shall die a hundred years old, and the sinner a hundred years old shall be accursed.
This historical world seems to contrast with the millennium where the saints can actually enter into the cities gates....yet in another mode of being:
An early Church father named Tertulian once stated:
“But we do confess that a kingdom is promised to us upon the earth, although before heaven, only in another state of existence; inasmuch as it will be after the resurrection for a thousand years in the divinely-built city of Jerusalem, ‘let down from heaven,’ which the apostle also calls ‘our mother from above;’ and, while declaring that our politeuma, or citizenship, is in heaven, he predicates of it that it is really a city in heaven. This both Ezekiel had knowledge of and the Apostle John beheld.”
In biblical cosmology, the firmament is the vast solid dome created by God on the second day to divide the primal sea (called tehom) into upper and lower portions so that the dry land could appear.[1][2]
